Vision

The XR Corridor is a transformative national initiative by the Experiential Technology Innovation Centre (XTIC) at IIT Madras to establish India as a world leader in Extended Reality (XR) technologies—encompassing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR).

Aligned with India's vision for Viksit Bharat 2047, the XR Corridor aims to build a robust ecosystem connecting academia, industry, startups, government agencies, and international collaborators to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and skilled workforce development in immersive technologies.
