Mr. Sharad Kumar Yadav (PhD Scholar – Jan 2019 to Present)

Brief Bio: I am working on numerical and experimental ion transport phenomena across angstrom size slits of single-layer MoS2. Current research is focused around postulating Ionic Coulomb blockade effects in MoS2 based slits along with studying the effect of MoS2 geometry, its surface charge, solution concentration, pH and applied electric field on the measured ionic current for a wide range of MoS2 devices. I did my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gautam Buddha Technical University Lucknow, M.Tech Electronics Engineering (Digital Systems) from NIT Allahabad and M.Sc. in Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy, University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
