IIT Madras is organizing a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Workshop on Materials and Mechanics powered by National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). It will house talks from eminent personalities in the field, along with an opportunity for students and faculty members to present their work. The event is planned from July 28 to 30, and is open to all.

This workshop is an opportunity to bring together researchers working from domains but broadly in the area of HPC such as development of new algorithms, open source platforms, adapting GPU programming and utilizing computations to address fundamental and applied problems related to materials and mechanics. It is also an opportunity to foster collaboration and to broadly publicize the recent results.

    Fenics Workshop

    One day Workshop on Fenics, 27th July, 2021 @ 4 PM - 7 PM

    Resource Persons: Pramod Kumbhar, Dr. Hirshikesh

    A half day workshop on introduction to Fenics will be organized as part of the workshop. It is meant for those who have at least some understanding of the finite element method and experience with using one of the FEM solvers.
