Research

The group is focused in fundamental and applied research on microfluidics, surface engineering and heat transfer. The area of research includes (not limited to) wettability patterning, multiphase flow, single and multiphase heat transfer etc.

Fundamental understanding of single-phase convective heat transfer in the form of natural and mixed convection is very important. We are mainly interested in the heat transfer enhancement using passive technique and non-linear analysis of the convective flows. Different techniques have been used to enhance the convective heat transfer in a confined domain. Instability driven multiple solutions was observed during natural convection inside a grooved channel.
