Brief Bio: Mr. Hemanth D graduated with a bachelor's (Honours) degree from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala in 2019. He is currently pursuing his Direct Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Arvind Pattamatta and Dr. Pallab Sinha Mahapatra. As a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF), his research focuses on the development of a Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) especially for Li-ion batteries, to maintain within the desired temperature range. His research endeavors to enhance the effectiveness of the battery thermal management system by utilizing phase-change techniques like Phase Change Materials, heat pipes, and flow boiling.
