Fall 2012 : Math 993 Algebraic Geometry Homepage

The aim of this class was to solve problems from chapter 2 of the book Algebraic Geometry by Robin Hartshorne. We covered all problems in the first 4 sections and most of the problems in the fifth section. The class comprised of 5 graduate students and 1 undergraduate student, along with me. Another graduate student audited the course for about half the semester. The class met for 2 hours each week. The system was that there were assigned problems for the week which participants solved at the board during class hours. It was fairly tough and very character-building, I think I ended up learning quite a lot.

A big thank you to all the participants!
