Our group works in the area of printed electronics with a particular focus on nanomaterials. We work on both fundamental and applied research, related to electronic device fabrication. We focus mainly on vapor deposition, solution processing, and wet chemical routes for synthesis and fabrication. We work mainly on sensors, displays, energy harvesting and storage devices.

  1. Jhansi's work on the photocatalytic dye degradation of bismuth ferrite has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Electronic Materials. Congrats. The work can be accessed here.  
  2. Jhansi's work on the sol-gel synthesis of bismuth ferrite has been published in the Journal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology. Congrats. The work can be accessed here. 
  3. Neha and Aarju presented their work at the 6th IEEE International Flexible Electronics Technology Conference (IFETC 2024) held in Bologna, Italy.
  4. Neha's work on developing a water-soluble flexible and printable supercapacitor based on activated carbon has been accepted for publication in Advanced Sustainable Systems (Wiley). Congrats. Aarju is also a co-author in this work and the research was carried out in collaboratin with Prof. Kothandaraman's group in the Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Madras.   5. Nikhila Patil (visiting research scholar) and Sowmmya Venkatesh (currently M. Tech student) have filed an Indian patent, "A PRINTED PATTERNS OF THIN FILM HEATERS ON A QUARTZ SUBSTRATE USING SILVER NANOPARTICLE INK AND ITS METHOD OF PRINTING". Congrats. Nikhila Patil is guided by Prof. P. Sumathi from IIT Roorkee. 
  6. Swati Suman has been awarded the Institute Research Award (IRA) for July-Nov 2024. Congrats. The award is in recognition of her exceptional contribution to research.
