Our group works in the area of printed electronics with a particular focus on nanomaterials. We work on both fundamental and applied research, related to electronic device fabrication. We focus mainly on vapor deposition, solution processing, and wet chemical routes for synthesis and fabrication. We work mainly on sensors, displays, energy harvesting and storage devices.

  1. Swati Suman has been awarded the Institute Research Award (IRA) for July-Nov 2024. Congrats. The award is in recognition of her exceptional contribution to research.  
  2. Jhansi successfully completed her Research Proposal Seminar. Congrats. 
  3. Neethu and Bharath published their work on rod coating of silver nanowires in IOP Nanotechnology. Aarju supported them in their work and Prof. Basavaraja G is also a co-author. Congrats to all the authors. The work can be accessed here. 
  4. Meenu and Neha have published their work on the electrchromic properties of nickel oxide in the Journal of Electronic Materials. They were supported by Aarju and Faiz Ali. Congrats to all the authors. The work can be accessed here.
  5. Sanjeev and Sudha's Indian patent, "BISMUTH FERRITE-BASED FLEXIBLE DEVICE FOR ROOM TEMPERATURE GAS SENSING" has been granted. Congrats. The patent certificiate can be accessed here.
  6. Swati's Indian patent, "SYSTEM FOR OPTOELECTRONIC CHARACTERIZATION OF SOLID-STATE PHOTODETECTORS" has been granted. Congrats. The patent certificate can be accessed here.
  7. Ranjithvel and Sudha have filed an Indian patent titled "ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICE BASED ON VANADIUM OXIDE ACTIVE ELECTRODE AND SALT-BASED ELECTROLYTE". Congrats.
