Current Work:
Pathogenic microbes kill more people than any other single cause in low-income countries. These infectious agents can be bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi. Early identification of these pathogens is the key to improve public health. I am very much interested in developing optical biosensors for detecting pathogens in biological fluid samples.
