The Light source is from Ocean Optics. The model number is HL – 2000. It is optimized for the VIS-NIR (360 nm-2000 nm) with adjustable focusing of the SMA 905 connector to maximize light coupling into a fiber. A fan keeps the source cool and stable. A built-in filter slot accepts optical filters up to 25.4-mm round or up to 50.8-mm square and up to 3 mm thick.

Fiber optic coupler: Microscope objective (Alco make) with magnification 45X, numerical aperture 0.67, tube length 160 mm and the cover glass thickness is 0.17 cm. Fiber holders held by XY positioner against the objective. The other optomechanical components include :
XYZ Translation stage for precise positioning in all three dimensions, The XY Fiber positioned would help positioning in two dimensions, the kinematic Fiber positioner is also for alignment of the optical fiber.
The Optical Fiber cutting Block helps in slicing the fiber into pieces of necessary length.
