About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras. My research lies at the intersection of solid mechanics, surface engineering, and advanced manufacturing, with a particular focus on semiconductor reliability and mechanochemistry.
I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2015, where I worked on phase nucleation and evolution in heterogeneous solids. I also hold an M.S. from Purdue and a B.Tech. from IIT Bombay. Prior to joining IIT Madras, I held faculty and research positions at BITS Pilani, Prayoga Institute, and Purdue University.
