Industrial Association
- Coordinator of the Web Enabled M.Tech., in Automotive Technology (WEMAT), a new initiative from IIT Madras, where working people from mainly automotive industries can participate to undergo some courses offered by IIT Madras via web enabled teaching system which finally may give them M.Tech., degree.
- Guided many projects to the students of "Automotive Engine Technology", a user oriented graduate program run by the IC engines Laboratory, IIT Madras in which the students were the working engineers from automotive industries in India viz., Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, TVS Motors, Force Motors, Delphi Systems, Kirloskar Oil Industry Ltd., and Ashok Leyland etc. Their project works were dealt with real time problems of the Industry.
- 3Guided many projects to students of "Automotive Technology", An user oriented course run by the Department of Mechanical Engg., IIT Madras.
Foreign Collaboration
- One of my MS scholars, Ms. Priyanka D Jadhav, went on the student exchange program to Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, under DAAD - Sandwich Model Scholarships for Master's Students of the IITs and IIMs, 2015 (57041433), from 01-09-2015 to 31-05-2016. She worked under Prof. Andreas Dreizler, on the measurement of wall temperature using special coatings in an IC engine.
