TIn research the BTMS system uses different types of coolants like molten salt mixtures, water-glycol mixture and phase changing materials. Predominantly, the efficiency of EV battery stack depends on the working temperature. The widely used coolants are water-glycol mixture or synthetic oils. However, the high viscosity, high vapor pressure, compromised thermal properties and limited operating temperature range of the existing coolants restricts the EVs for all weather operations. Finally, due to the above reported issues of coolants, organic nanofluids can be proposed as alternative to the currently used coolants.
