Ph.D. students (On going)
Koushik Brahma (From July 2018)
Koushik and I completed one paper on generalized cohomology theories of
GKM orbifolds and weighted Grassmann orbifolds. He wrote a research paper on cohomology rings of
a class of Grassmann orbifolds. Now he is working on a new project.
Supriyo Jana (A Prime Minister Research Fellow from July 2021)
Supriyo and I completed one paper on Quadratic and cubic polynomial vector
fields on the product of a circle and a sphere. We are working on some problems related to Hilbert's 16th Problem.
Ph.D. students (Completed)
Subhankar Sau (Defended PhD thesis in November 2021.
Currently, he is a postdoc at ISI Kolkata)
Thesis Title: Torsion in the cohomology of quasitoric orbifolds and some rigidity
properties of quasitoric manifolds.
Subhankar, Koushik and I completed three research papers (one is published
in Topology and its Applications and others are submitted). Subhankar and I wrote a paper
on a classification of quasitoric manifolds over a vertex cut of a product of simplices.
